In 2017, #MeToo was flung into the spotlight; but eleven years before the hashtag went viral, Tarana Burke started the Me Too movement through her youth organization to empower girls of color as they begin to grow and define themselves. It took years of hard work, perseverance, and belief to be able to seize the moment that she got in 2017. Now she’s coming to the National Conference of College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) to tell you how you can be ready for your moment when it arrives.

Be prepared when the opportunity comes to change your life — and the lives of people around. With skill-building workshops customized for campus professionals, informative panels and lectures, and an inspiring lineup of awardees and speakers, NCCWSL can help you prepare to turn your moment into a movement.

Register yourself and your students for NCCWSL before April 30 to hear how Burke is supporting survivors of sexual assault and harassment, connect with other campus professionals, and get the skills you’ll need to make a difference in the lives of your students — and in your own life, too.
