Finally, after waiting 18 months through the pandemic, we are marking the debut of the MWHC exhibit venue and meeting space, located in the historic former Woman's Industrial Exchange. Come celebrate with us, tour our exhibits and help us honor suffragist Edith Houghton Hooker, who spent much time in the immediate neighborhood organizing Maryland's suffrage movement. We will unveil a historical marker in her honor, which will eventually be placed on the exterior of the building.
