A community celebration of the 150th Anniversary of Garrett County, which was established in 1872. As part of the celebration several AAUW-Grarett Branch members and friends will perform a short version of our Women's Monologues: Maryland Suffragists. They will focus on Garrett County suffragists, including Catherine Sweet, Julia Ruhl, Dr. Lorilla Tower, Lillian "Tay" Sincell and "General" Edna Latimer of Baltimore who led the 1914 Garrett County Suffrage Pilgrimage. General Latimer will be portrayed by Judy Carbone, MWHC board member.
