The Maryland Women’s Heritage Center (MWHC), now located in the former Woman's Industrial Exchange (WIE) at 333 N. Charles Street, is documenting the history and stories of this unique Baltimore landmark.

Amy Rosenkrans, PhD, MWHC board member, historian and Baltimore City Public School middle school social studies teacher will recall the history and heyday of the WIE.

This event will be presented in-person and virtually. To join virtually visit the Enoch Pratt Free Library's Facebook or Youtube page.

This hybrid presentation is part of "Memories of the Woman's Industrial Exchange," funded in part by the Baltimore National Heritage Area. This project includes cataloging artifacts left behind in the building, collecting oral histories of people who have memories of the Exchange and crowdsourcing artifacts that may still be in personal collections. This is a chance to also share your own memories of this unique Baltimore landmark.
