Virtually visit the gravesites and hear the stories of ten Baltimore women, all very different from one another, who lived during 1800s Baltimore.

Baltimore women of the time were the backbone of families and communities. However, their stories and accomplishments are often overlooked.

At the end of their lives, family and friends laid these women to rest in several cemeteries that surrounded Baltimore. These historic cemeteries include Green Mount Cemetery, Loudon Park Cemetery, Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery and New Cathedral Cemetery.

Every woman, in her own way, is a part of Baltimore's fabric.

Presented by Kathi Santora, President of the Maryland Women's Heritage Center and producer of Dying to Tell Their Stories, a blog that looks at the lives of people buried in Baltimore’s historic cemeteries.
