No one documented and celebrated the history of the Woman’s Industrial Exchange (WIE) until the Maryland Women’s Heritage Center began a two-year project to preserve artifacts found in the building and to conduct and archive histories of the women who kept the WIE in operation for over 100 years. Dr. Amy Rosenkrans, MWHC board member and project leader, will share the stories discovered and show the items that were discovered in the building. The grant was funded by the Baltimore National Heritage Area.
